  • Noah Battaglia

    Graduate Student

    Noah is a second-year graduate student in the Developmental Psychology Master’s program at Wilfrid Laurier University. He joined MAP Lab after completing a BA in Psychology at Laurier. His research interests include children’s reasoning about moral issues and the developmental pathways of aggression.

  • Jacqueline Di Biase

    Graduate Student

    Jacqueline is a first-year graduate student in the Developmental Psychology Master’s program at Wilfrid Laurier University. She is returning to the MAP Lab after completing an Honours bachelor's degree at Laurier. Her research interests focus on early childhood development, with a particular emphasis on prosocial behaviours and moral development in children.

  • Avery Bruin

    Lab Manager

    Avery is a recent graduate of the psychology program at Wilfrid Laurier University. Holding a minor in criminology, She has interests in the development of early and middle childhood aggressive tendencies and how they affect children’s development longitudinally.

  • Alexa Wilkie

    Honours Thesis Student

    Alexa is a fourth-year undergraduate student in the Psychology program at Laurier, completing her honours thesis with Dr. Jambon. She enjoys working with children and is interested in developmental psychology and how this knowledge can be applied in clinical contexts.

  • Maddie Dunn

    Honours Thesis Student

    Maddie is in her fourth year of her undergraduate degree in Psychology and is completing her honours thesis under the supervision of Dr. Jambon. She has experience as a camp counsellor and running children's programming and enjoys working with children. Maddie hopes to continue to work with children in her future career in psychology and is interested in developmental psychology, in particular, the development of moral reasoning. 

  • Maya Rafelman

    Directed Studies Student

    Maya is currently completing her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences at Wilfrid Laurier University. Minoring in Psychology, Maya has a deep interest in social psychology, particularly in how early social environments influence cognitive and emotional development in early childhood

  • Jaida Brown

    Volunteer Research Assistant

    Jaida is a second-year graduate student in the developmental psychology master’s program at Wilfrid Laurier University. Holding a BA in cognitive psychology, her general research interests include emotion regulation, children and adolescent moral identity development, and qualitative research methods.

  • Victor Pan

    Volunteer Research Assistant

    Victor is a recent graduate of the psychology program at Wilfrid Laurier University. Holding a minor in computer science, he has a wide range of research interests including the development of aggression and moral reasoning in children and applications of emerging technologies like VR and AI in research.

  • Isha Dhode

    Volunteer Research Assistant

    Isha is a graduate of the psychology program at the University of Waterloo. Her research interests include the role of social agents in children’s emotional development and the intersecting components that predict prosocial and antisocial behaviours in childhood.

  • Cynthia Di Sano

    Volunteer Research Assistant

    Cynthia is a recent graduate of the psychology program at Wilfrid Laurier University. Holding a minor in management, she has interests in prosocial behaviour and relational aggression in middle childhood and adolescence as well as mental health and wellbeing among immigrant populations.

  • Erika Van Bakel

    Volunteer Research Assistant

    Erika is a third-year undergraduate student in the Psychology program at Laurier, specializing in research. She is particularly interested in developmental psychology and how relationships influence decision-making related to aggression and moral reasoning. Erika hopes to apply this knowledge in clinical contexts to better understand and support individuals.
